The role involves lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
