Vertical milling machine operator — Florence County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Florence County, Wisconsin. On a typical shift you will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Six days a week, one day off. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
