Immediate opening: brick and block layer (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Sussex County, Virginia. You will spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided.
