Halal butcher — Orkney Islands

Vacancy available: we are hiring a halal butcher in Orkney Islands, Scotland. You will be based in a hotel or restaurant butchery. On a typical shift you will keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders. You should have: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate We offer £2,750 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
