Rebar worker — Sumner County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar worker in Sumner County, Kansas. On the job you will handle: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
