Argon welder — Todd County

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Todd County, Minnesota. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On the job you will handle: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
