Single needle operator — Franklin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a single needle operator in Franklin County, New York. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. You will set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Overtime paid at a premium rate.
