Now hiring: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Decatur County, Tennessee. You will work at a power plant. Day-to-day duties: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Six days a week, one day off. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
