Rigging foreman wanted in Gates County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Gates County, North Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Confident with standard crane hand signals Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
