Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Ungogo, Kano State. Your main tasks: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium We offer ₦145,000 per month plus benefits.
