Port container crane operator — Navajo County

Join our team: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Navajo County, Arizona. The role involves: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
