Die-casting operator • Klamath County, Oregon

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Klamath County, Oregon. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. On a typical shift you will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
