VMC operator — Spartanburg County

Now hiring: we are hiring a VMC operator in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. On a typical shift you will monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter. Requirements: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided.
