Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble cutter in Edgecombe County, North Carolina. The job is in a stone processing yard. Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools an advantage • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists Day to day you will level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets; lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
