Lift technician wanted in Cloud County

Day-to-day duties: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
