Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Polk County, North Carolina. The job is in a job-work machining unit. The role involves: • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) What we are looking for: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
