Furniture maker — Washington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a furniture maker in Washington County, Colorado. You will be based in a bespoke joinery workshop. Requirements: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Own basic hand tools Day-to-day duties: • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge Full-time, day shift.
