Argon arc welder — Donley County

Join our team: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Donley County, Texas. The job is on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety On the job you will handle: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
