Shuttering carpenter — Gates County

Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Gates County, North Carolina. You will work on a busy high-rise construction site. You will fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations. You should have: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Overtime paid at a premium rate.
