Dozer operator — Madison County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dozer operator in Madison County, Illinois. You will work on a road construction project. Requirements: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections Your main tasks: • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse Rotating shifts.
