Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Escambia County, Florida. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts The role involves: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
