UPVC window fitter • Thayer County, Nebraska

Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Thayer County, Nebraska. You will install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; take site measurements of openings before fabrication. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
