Shuttering carpenter — Yakima County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Yakima County, Washington. You will work on a residential housebuilding project. On a typical shift you will apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish. Requirements: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Own basic hand tools Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
