Immediate opening: we are hiring a bread baker in Rock County, Wisconsin. The job is in a hotel pastry kitchen. Your main tasks: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials You should have: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
