Immediate opening: we are hiring a commis chef in Saguache County, Colorado. The job is in a hotel kitchen. The role involves prepare the mise en place before each service; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases. Requirements: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends.
