Crawler crane operator • Snyder County, Pennsylvania

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Snyder County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a precast concrete yard. On a typical shift you will fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Performance bonus on top of base pay.
