The role involves: • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains Requirements: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports 2+ years on the tools preferred.
