Trowel-trade bricklayer — Kitsap County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Kitsap County, Washington. You will work at a renovation and extension job. You should have: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks The role involves buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser.
