Press operator — Pratt County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press operator in Pratt County, Kansas. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. Requirements: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts On a typical shift you will apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; record output and downtime on the production sheet; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed. 4+ years on the tools preferred. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
