Vacancy available: we are hiring a JCB operator in LaPorte County, Indiana. Your main tasks: • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
