Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Kings County, New York. You will work at a drainage and utilities contractor. What we are looking for: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence On a typical shift you will carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
