Flatlock machine operator — Grand Isle County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Grand Isle County, Vermont. On the job you will handle: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching Requirements: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
