Fusing press operator — Colorado County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Colorado County, Texas. You will be based in a garment export house. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Day-to-day duties: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents Part-time with flexible hours.
