Heavy equipment operator • Stanton County, Kansas

Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Stanton County, Kansas. You will work at a plant hire yard. Day to day you will level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; check for underground cables and services before digging; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals. Ideal candidate: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance 5+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
