Great opportunity: we are hiring a JCB operator in McPherson County, Kansas. Requirements: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing Day to day you will work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
