Crawler crane operator — Calhoun County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Calhoun County, Georgia. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. What we are looking for: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination On the job you will handle: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground Full-time with occasional weekends.
