On the job you will handle: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets Requirements: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Full-time, day shift.
