Immediate opening: we are hiring a moulder in Clarion County, Pennsylvania. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Day-to-day duties: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
