Urgent requirement: we are hiring a blocklayer in Anderson County, Texas. You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Day to day you will erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb.
