Stamping press operator — Tangipahoa Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. On a typical shift you will top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. Ideal candidate: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
