Oven operator — Meade County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an oven operator in Meade County, South Dakota. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. On the job you will handle: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds Requirements: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
