Tiling assistant — East Lothian

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tiling assistant in East Lothian, Scotland. You should have: • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts Your main tasks: • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles Six days a week, one day off.
