Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Rowan County, Kentucky. You will work on a lift modernisation project. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Day to day you will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
