Plant operator — Erath County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Erath County, Texas. You will work at a landfill site. Day-to-day duties: • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels What we are looking for: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
