Rough terrain crane operator — Gallatin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Gallatin County, Illinois. You will be based on a high-rise tower crane. Requirements: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • A good head for heights for tower crane work The role involves climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground.
