Vacancy available: die-casting operator (Ohio)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Ottawa County, Ohio. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry 4+ years on the tools preferred.
