We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Clay County, Illinois. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently The role involves cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish.
