Turning centre operator — Saint Tammany Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Saint Tammany Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a job-work machining unit. Day-to-day duties: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Pay around $16 per hour, based on your experience.
