Tile installer — Allamakee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tile installer in Allamakee County, Iowa. You will work in a tile and sanitaryware showroom. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines The role involves screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
