Argon welder — Randolph County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Randolph County, Alabama. Your main tasks: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Full-time, day shift.
